Domestic Incident

Overview:

Domestic Incident Report Module enables the user to collect information to print out the New York State incident Part A and B. A domestic incident report entry can be created from Blotter, Case or directly in the Domestic Incident Module. Documentation will go over same of the key features needed to print out the Part A/B Reports.


Domestic Incident Module:

  • The Domestic Incident module like other RMS 3 modules is broken into individual tabs.
  • Documentation will cover the Investigation tab and Narrative tab that have some unique features and settings to successfully print out Part A/B.

Investigation Narratives Part A:

  • You have two options to include an investigative Narrative on the Part A
    • Add the investigative Narrative directly in the narrative field in the Investigative Tab. or
    • Add the Investigative Narrative in the Narrative Tab.
  • The screen capture above highlighted in RED warns the user that the investigative Narrative can only exist in one of two places. if the Investigative Narrative is recorded in the Narrative tab and has a narrative type as "MAIN" that narrative will appear on the part A report. A narrative entered in the Investigative tab will then be omitted and not included in the Part A Report.

Allegations Grounds Narrative Part B Report:

  • The allegations grounds narrative is recorded in the Narrative tab and must have a narrative to of Allegations Grounds.

PART A Redacted Report

  • To redact the victim and witness information on the Part A report, check the box REDACTED under Domestic Incident Report 2016.
