Permit

Overview:

       Permit Module allows an agency to record all gun permits, applicants for a permit and all investigations that were conducted for the permit application. The module also records all firearms associated with the person whom the permit was issued. Users will also get an alert if a person as an active permit when accessing other RMS 3 records.

From the Overview page you can document the following:

• Permit Status, Status Date, and Classification.
• Application - General application informations such as Application type, Permit Type.
• Investigation - Documents Investigation Status, Permit Recommended, and Investigation Officer.
• Issuance - Documents Permit Type Issued, Date permit number and issuing judge.
• Remarks - Any other additional information and if a permit is FOIL exempt.

• If the applicant is a gun dealer/gunsmith or you can record that related information here.

Persons:

Permit Person

• Records all personal and pedigree information on the applicant or persons who are character references.

Firearms Included in Permit:

• Records all firearms that are owned by the applicant or permit holder.
