Sealing Records

Overview:

       RMS 3 users have the capability to seal any record, person or offense. A user with appropriate module permissions can also search sealed records by person’s name to satisfy Pistol Permits, Police Applications and Military inquires.

Full Record Sealing:

1.       Select MORE to expand the drop-down list. 2.       Sealed Record will seal the entire record, but will not seal related records. Related records have to be sealed individually.

Sealing a single person:

  • Checking Sealed box will seal a single person for the record.

Sealing a single offense:

  • Checking Sealed in the offense will seal a single offense.

Sealed Module:

  • Search by record number or individual name to find all related records.
  • View a sealed record.
  • Unseal a record.
