Impound

Overview:

The Impound Module will record all vehicles that have been towed, place alerts on vehicles that should not be released and generates Impound related reports.

Impounded/Towed Vehicles

• The Impound Overview tab is where you will record the recovery and impound location in addition to the actual vehicle that was towed.
• The HOLD checkbox will enable a warning that will appear in the Release Information tab.

Sale Information

• If an impounded vehicle is to be sold by the agency, this tab provides you the ability to record that information.

Release Information

• If a hold is placed on the vehicle, a warning will appear in red warning the user not to release the vehicle.
• The Tab also records who a vehicle was released too and will generate an Impound Release Form.
