Citations

Overview:

Citation module records all Traffic and Parking Tickets a user may issue. Users have the option to replicate a citation into another ticket if multiple tickets are issued to the same offender. Officers can also replicate a ticket based on location information, court and appearance date/time. In addition, Tracs tickets can be imported into the module.

Citation Module Overview:

From the Citation Overview tab, a user can create a default citation or replicate a citation using Create Another Citation.

Create Defaulted Citation:

  • Before creating a defaulted citation, the following information should be entered.
    • Ticket Type
    • Court
    • Appearance Type
    • Appearance Date
    • Appearance Time Location information located in Citation/Location tab. This is useful if you are issuing several tickets at the same location/appearance date/time. An example would be issuing several parking tickets in a parking lot.

Create Another Citation:

  • Create Another Citation will copy all the ticket data entered except the Charge/Speed data fields. Very useful when issuing more than one ticket to the same offender.
