Impound

Overview:

       Impound Module will record all vehicles that have been towed, place alerts on vehicles that should not be released and generates Impound related reports.


Impounded/Towed Vehicles

    1. The Impound Overview tab is where you will record the recovery and impound location in addition to the actual vehicle that was towed.
    2. The HOLD checkbox will enable a warning that will appear in the Release Information tab.

      3. Sale Information

    1. If an impounded vehicle is to be sold by the agency, this tab provides you the ability to record that information.

      2. Release Information

    1. If a hold is placed on the vehicle, a warning will appear in red warning the user not to release the vehicle.
    2. Tab also records who a vehicle was released too and will generate an Impound Release Form.
